Truro, Nova Scotia · Serving all of Canada · Founder-led, 25 years in IT

Custom development · Automation · Fixed-price task work

We build the digital side of your business.

We start by fixing what is broken, not by replacing what you have. Websites, automation, AI and Shopify work for Canadian businesses — from a $120 bug fix upward. English and French.

What do you need done?

Fourteen fixed-price jobs, or new development quoted per project.

Fix for momentum. Build for scale. Start at $120.

New clients

Your first 20 hours at $19 an hour.

Whatever project you bring us. Same team, same standards, same fourteen-day warranty as every other job we take — we are not cutting the quality to cut the price.

We take the loss on the first project to earn the second. That is the whole strategy, and we would rather say it plainly than dress it up as a sale.

What the offer is, exactly

  • $19 per hour for the first 20 hours of work, new clients only.
  • Any project. Website, bug fix, automation, Shopify, AI — your choice, not ours.
  • One client, once. The 20 hours do not reset and do not stack with task pricing.
  • After 20 hours, normal rates — quoted in writing, and only if you want to carry on.
  • No auto-renewal, no card on file, no contract to exit.

Stop at hour 20 and you owe $380 at most. Stop at the prototype and you owe nothing at all.

How we start

Most agencies open by replacing what you have. We open by fixing it.

You already have a website, a booking tool, a way of invoicing. It mostly works. The traditional answer is to throw it out and start again, because that is the engagement worth selling. We think that is backwards.

The usual way

  1. Discovery phaseThree weeks of workshops, billed, before anyone writes a line.
  2. A proposal to rebuildEverything replaced, because partial work is harder to quote.
  3. A five-figure commitmentSigned before you have seen anything they built for you.
  4. Months of nothing visibleYour old site stays broken the whole time.
  5. A new system to learnYour team relearns a job they already knew.
  6. Your product changesTo fit the platform, rather than the other way round.

How we start

  1. Fix the broken thing firstFrom $120. The form that does not send, the page that collapses on phones.
  2. You watch us work before committingA small job tells you more about a supplier than any proposal.
  3. Keep your platformWordPress, Shopify, Wix, whatever you are on. We work in it, not around it.
  4. Nothing changes for your customersSame URLs, same login, same process. They notice it works better.
  5. Your team learns nothing newUnless the new thing is obviously easier, we leave the workflow alone.
  6. Rebuild only when the fixes stop payingWe will tell you when that point arrives. Usually later than you expect.

What that looks like in practice

$120 Fix what is broken

One bug, quoted and fixed. Most relationships start here and many stay here.

$450 Add what is missing

A booking form, a gallery, a proper services page. Inside the design you already have.

$180/mo Keep it working

Maintenance so it does not drift back. Cancel by email, any month.

$3,500+ Rebuild, if it earns it

Only when patching costs more than replacing. We say so out loud, and we would rather say it late.

Each rung is a decision you make separately. Nothing here commits you to the next one.

Founder and Director

Based in Canada Meets clients in person Not an offshore vendor

Twenty-five years in the IT industry, building enterprise applications for organisations that depend on them. The span matters more than the number: from classic legacy systems — the kind of database and line-of-business application a client has been running since long before the web mattered — through modern web platforms to advanced AI and automation.

Most studios work at one end of that range. A business still running on something old needs someone who can read it before deciding what, if anything, should replace it. That is the difference between a quote to rebuild and a quote to fix.

Eight specialists work alongside him. Small enough that the person who scopes your project is the person accountable for it; large enough to take on work a lone freelancer would have to turn down.

He is based in Canada, not offshore, and for larger projects he will meet you in person — at your office, your site, or over coffee in Truro or Halifax. Anywhere else in the province by arrangement. For a $120 bug fix a phone call is faster, and we will say so.

Free website audit

Not sure what needs doing? We will tell you, free.

Send us your address and we run the site through the same checks we use on our own work. You get one page of findings in plain English, ranked by what to fix first — and you get it whether or not you ever hire us.

01

Speed

Load times and Core Web Vitals, measured on a phone and on a desktop, against what Google actually scores you on.

02

Phones

How the layout behaves on a real phone screen — text that overflows, buttons too small to hit, anything that breaks.

03

Search

Page titles, headings, indexing and your sitemap. The basics that decide whether you turn up at all.

04

Health

Broken links, bad redirects, missing images, SSL, security headers and software that is out of date.

Back in two to three days. No call to book, and nothing automated goes out afterwards.

A customer browsing a business site on a phone, laptop open behind

Built to book work

A website is not the goal. A booked job is.

Most local businesses do not need a bigger site. They need one that turns a visitor into a booked job without anyone picking up the phone.

We build around a single action — a quote request with photos attached, or a first appointment — and cut everything that does not move someone toward it.

An office worker at a desk, pausing between screens and paperwork

The expensive part

The same information, typed in four times.

A job arrives by email. Someone types it into scheduling. Then into invoicing. Then into the bookkeeping file. Every retype is a chance to get it wrong, and all of it is paid time producing nothing.

Fifteen hours a week at $30 an hour is about $23,000 a year, before counting the invoices that get missed entirely.

Run the numbers yourself

Before you talk to us, work out whether it is worth it.

Drag the sliders to your own situation. If the payback period looks bad, do not hire us for this.

What is the manual work costing you?

Live calculation

Retyping, chasing documents, answering the same questions, copying between systems.

Wage plus payroll costs. For an owner doing it personally, use what an hour of your time is worth.

We scope to a realistic figure, not total elimination. Most builds land between 60% and 80%.

Drag to match the service you are considering. Starting prices run $1,800 to $6,500.

Recovered each year $13,978
Pays for itself in5.6 months
Hours back per year437

Over three years that is $41,934 recovered against a one-time cost.

This is arithmetic, not a promise. We agree the real baseline hours with you in writing before any build starts, and you get a measurement against that number at handover. Figures in Canadian dollars.

How a project runs

You see it working before you are committed to it.

01

Call

Thirty minutes. You describe the problem, we tell you whether we are the right fit — including when we are not.

02

Scope and contract

A fixed price, a delivery date and a signed agreement. The contract protects you, not us. Nothing starts until you approve it.

03

Prototype

We build one small function from your project and show you it running. Not a mockup — working software, in two or three days.

04

Your call

Happy, we finish the build. Not happy, you walk away and owe nothing. No questions, no argument, no invoice.

Industries

We go deep in a few sectors rather than shallow in all of them.

Knowing your software, your terminology and your busy season is most of the value. The second project in a sector is always better than the first.

Selected work

Things we have built, still running.

Not mockups and not case-study PDFs. Every one of these is a live address you can open in a new tab and poke at.

Call rescue

A trade misses a call under a sink. The customer gets a text back within eight seconds, and the calls he never knew about get counted.
