Home / Approach

You should not have to trust us. You should be able to see it.

Contract signed first, prototype built next, and your decision after you have seen it working. If it is not right, you walk away owing nothing. That is the whole model.

How a project runs

You see it working before you are committed to it.

01

Call

Thirty minutes. You describe the problem, we tell you whether we are the right fit — including when we are not.

02

Scope and contract

A fixed price, a delivery date and a signed agreement. The contract protects you, not us. Nothing starts until you approve it.

03

Prototype

We build one small function from your project and show you it running. Not a mockup — working software, in two or three days.

04

Your call

Happy, we finish the build. Not happy, you walk away and owe nothing. No questions, no argument, no invoice.

Fixed price

Every engagement is quoted as a single number against a written scope. If a task takes longer than estimated, that is our problem, not a change order.

The exception is agency work, where scope genuinely shifts week to week. There we bill hourly at a flat rate, with a written estimate before each piece and a flag the moment something looks like it will run over. We do not discover overruns at invoice time.

Payment is fifty percent on signature and fifty percent on handover. No deposits held against future work, no monthly minimum, no automatic renewal.

Zero risk

See it working before you are committed to it.

You have never worked with us. Asking you to pay five figures on a promise is asking you to take all of the risk. We would rather take it ourselves.

The prototype promise

Walk away at the prototype and owe nothing.

We sign the contract, then build one small function from your project and show you it running. Two or three days, working software, not a mockup. If it is not what you wanted, you stop there. No invoice, no cancellation fee, no questions asked.

How it works in practice

  • Contract and fixed price signed first — that protects you
  • One function, named in the contract before we start
  • Two to three working days, not weeks
  • Working software you can click, not a design
  • Walk away and no money changes hands

Why

Satisfaction before payment

Every agency says the client comes first. The test is what happens when a client is not happy. Here it is settled up front: you pay when the work is right, not when the invoice date arrives.

Scope

One function, named up front

Small and specific, agreed in the contract before we start. A booking form that actually sends. One integration passing real data. The assistant answering ten of your real questions. Enough to judge us by, not the whole build delivered free.

Honest limits

If you walk away

You owe nothing and we keep the prototype code. You are free to go elsewhere. We ask one thing: tell us what was wrong, so the next one is better.

AutomationOne integration running live — a quote moving into your invoicing system without anyone retyping it.3

ShopifyThe checkout step that fails on mobile, fixed on a copy of your store so you can test it.2

Task work under $500 skips this. At that size the whole job is smaller than a prototype, so we just do it.

What we will not do

Saying no early is cheaper for both of us.

A short list, offered up front so you do not spend a call finding out.

No

Scoped projects under $1,500

Below that, the paperwork costs more than the work. Smaller jobs go through task work instead, from $90.

No

Advertising management

We build the systems that make ads convert. Running the ad accounts is someone else's specialty and we will refer you.

No

Work we cannot do well

If your project needs something outside what we are good at, we say so on the first call rather than learning on your budget.

No

Locked-in platforms

You own the domain, the hosting account and the files. Leaving us should cost you nothing but a password change.

Questions

Before you book the call.

How quickly can you start?

Usually within two weeks. We take a limited number of projects at a time so that the ones in progress get finished on schedule, which occasionally means a wait.

Do you work with clients outside Nova Scotia?

Yes. Most of what we build is delivered remotely and the majority of clients are outside Truro. Being in the Atlantic time zone makes the overlap easy with anywhere in Canada.

Can we start small?

That is usually the right call. A small first project tells you whether you want to work with us on a bigger one, and it costs you far less than finding out the other way.

Who actually does the work?

A team of nine, led by Vijay Ara, who has twenty-five years in the industry. You get one point of contact throughout, and we will tell you who is working on what.

What happens after handover?

You own everything and owe nothing. Ongoing support is available and quoted separately — it is never folded into the project price to make the total look like a subscription.
