Nova Scotia has about 24,900 small employer businesses. We work with the ones who need the digital side handled and do not want an agency relationship to manage.
A small studio in Truro, built to be easy to hire.
One person accountable for your project, one price agreed in writing, and work that belongs to you when it is done. Nine people behind it.
Our story
Vijay AraFounder and Director · Truro, Nova Scotia
Most small businesses in Atlantic Canada are stuck between two bad options. Hire an agency and pay for account managers, discovery decks and a relationship to maintain. Or hire the cheapest freelancer available and spend the saving on fixing it afterwards.
This exists as the version in between: senior work, priced plainly, delivered by the person who does it. No account layer, no retainer you forget to cancel, no proposal that takes three weeks to arrive.
We started in Truro because that is home, and kept the work remote because the interesting problems are not all within driving distance. Clinics in Halifax, agencies in Toronto, shops anywhere with a postal code.
The team
Nine people, led by Vijay Ara — Vijayaraju Ashokraju — who has spent twenty-five years in the IT industry building enterprise applications and AI automation, across development, architecture, delivery and digital marketing.
That size is deliberate. A lone freelancer has to turn down anything that does not fit the one thing they do. A large agency puts an account manager between you and the work. Nine people means the person who scopes your project is accountable for it, and you still only have one number to call.
For specialist work outside what the team covers, we bring someone in and tell you who they are. We do not pass your project to a subcontractor without saying so.
Vijay is based in Canada and available in person for larger engagements — at your premises, or anywhere in Nova Scotia by arrangement. Everything else is delivered remotely, which is why clients outside the province cost no more than clients down the road.
How we price
Starting prices are published on every service page. That is deliberate. Asking people to book a call to learn whether something costs $2,000 or $20,000 wastes their time and ours.
The published figure is a starting price for a typical scope. A written quote follows the first conversation and does not move afterwards unless you add something.
Third-party costs — hosting, Shopify subscriptions, domain registration, paid fonts — are paid directly by you at cost. We do not mark them up and we do not resell them.
Pick the closest match. We will tell you on the call if something else fits better, and every price is confirmed in writing before anything starts.
Tell us what is broken.
